Forum forhums...

This amuses me a lot.

"I've had an eventful morning - even before 9am I had dressed the kids, redressed them as they fell in the mud in the garden, wiped cornflakes off the wall, done 5 loads of washing, loaded the dishwasher, bathed the dog because he went in the garden too, vacuumed the mud up, mopped the floor and STILL havent had a cup of coffee!! LOL!"

If you say the above on a mainly female-based non parenting, non debating forum the replies will usually be along the lines of "LOL you HAVE had an eventful morning so far!" or "sounds like your house is non stop fun!" and so on

If you say the above on a parenting forum the replies tend to be along the lines of
"sounds like you cant cope at all. We ALL have busy mornings but deal with it!" and "Why do you think your life is harder than anyone else's? Get a life and deal with it!"
"WHY on earth do you have to wipe cornflakes off the wall?! MY children sit still at the table and would never dare drop so much as a crumb! Just goes to show you cant cope with them. And I can, natch!"
Which then develops in to "can you see how she is just such a crap example of a mother, how she cant cope and OMG trying to blame the mud when she should be watching her kids and making sure the mud doesnt fall on to them tskk tssk...!"

I've realised that a lot of it is to do with hormones. How do you make a hormone? Kick her in the crutch!
Put together a bunch of hormonal and insecure mothers and bored housewives and it can be a bad pick n mix (RIP Woolworths) at times
